SEKISUI SQUASH OPEN 2016

Alexandra Fuller and Mahesh Mangaonkar are the lucky champions of the SEKISUI OPEN 2016. From 7^th to 13^thMarch, the fourth edition of the squash tournament took place at Sportpark Pilatus in Kriens, Switzerland. Once again, top squash players from around the world competed against each other. SEKISUI OPEN is made possible by SEKISUI, which has committed itself to sponsoring the tournament from 2013 to 2020. Due to its continuous sponsorship, SEKISUI makes a significant contribution to the promotion of squash in Europe.

SEKISUI Alveo is the first company within SEKISUI to qualify for the international Energy Management System (EnMS) standard ISO50001 certification.

SEKISUI Squash Tournament 2015

For the third year in a row, the SEKISUI Open took place in Sportpark Pilatus in Kriens, Switzerland. The tournament is made possible by its main sponsor SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD., who declared their full support from 2013 to 2020. The racquet sport requires flexibility as well as speed and brings together countless people from different countries in international tournaments – values, which are anchored also in the corporate philosophy of SEKISUI. Apart from its own online shop, SEKISUI Eslon is also selling gutter sets on the German online marketplace of eBay. Although it’s very challenging for a Dutch company to enter the German market, SEKISUI Eslon has made it happen and the sales figures are increasing constantly.

KAIZEN Convention 2015

SEKISUI Diagnostics successfully hosted the 5th European KAIZEN Convention on 10^th and 11^thNovember 2015 at Kent, England. The European entities held an internal competition at the beautiful Tudor Park Marriot Hotel to nominate the best team from Europe for the global competition in January 2016. Linked to the KAIZEN Convention the annual Plant Manager Meeting on 11^thand 12^thNovember and the Safety Associates Meeting on 11th November were held.

Global Saijuku Management Programme

The first-ever Global Saijuku training for managers of overseas business units successfully ended with a final presentation on 4^thMarch 2016 in Kyoto, Japan. 12 attendees from SEKISUI subsidiaries across North America, Europe, India, Korea, Japan and China participated in the programme, consisting of three modules held in different places – Tokyo in June 2015, Roermond in September 2015, and Kyoto in March 2016.
