Workplace Challenge at SEKISUI Diagnostics: An initiative to promote physical activity at the workplace and beyond
A new initiative of sporting activities was made by SEKISUI Diagnostics in Kent, England. The company participates in the program “Workplace Challenge” which aims to engage and motivate staff to participate more in sport and physical activity. They are due to organise various in-house challenges for the employees in order to improve their physical health.
The “World Children’s Eco Summit 2017”
Following 2007 and 2012, SEKISUI organises the next World Children’s Eco Summit in Japan. From 31st July until 7th August, 47 children between 13 and 16 years from around the world are invited to participate in environmental exchanges and activities.
SEKISUI with solid financial performance in 2016
SEKISUI’s financial data of FY2016 has been published. Although not all the objectives of the previous Mid-Term Plan have been met, solid improvement in profitability was realised. A decisive growth factor was the expansion and reform of the High Performance Plastics Company.

In 1955, Ikuma Dan and Iku Takenaka composed the corporate song of SEKISUI: It not only reflects the company’s spirit but its attitude and possibilities. Today, about 62 years later, the song is still an important part of the SEKISUI tradition and is being performed during special occasions.
