Celebrating the New Year in Japan
The arrival of a new year puts many people in a special mood. In western cultures, friends and family perform rituals to leave the ghosts of the old year behind, and to embrace new opportunities that may surface with the change of years. In Japan, “shōgatsu” – the “Japanese New Year” – has the same great importance as Christmas for most people in Europe. The New Year’s Day is called “Ganjitsu”.

50th anniversary of Global KAIZEN Convention 2016
SEKISUI S-Lec, lucky winner of the 5th KAIZEN Convention last year in Kent, England, was invited to join and present its European project at the 50th Global KAIZEN Convention on 15th January 2016 in Kyoto, Japan.
SEKISUI SQUASH OPEN 2016
Alexandra Fuller and Mahesh Mangaonkar are the lucky champions of the SEKISUI OPEN 2016. From 7th to 13th March, the fourth edition of the squash tournament took place at Sportpark Pilatus in Kriens, Switzerland. Once again, top squash players from around the world competed against each other. SEKISUI OPEN is made possible by SEKISUI, which has committed itself to sponsoring the tournament from 2013 to 2020.
