For the sixth time, SEKISUI Alveo participated in the “Bike to work” challenge, a Swiss wide health promotion campaign to strengthen staff members team spirit and fitness.
Following 2007 and 2012, SEKISUI organises the next World Children’s Eco Summit in Japan. From 31st July until 7th August, 47 children between 13 and 16 years from around the world are invited to participate in environmental exchanges and activities.
SEKISUI Alveo welcomed special visitors at Montageweg in Roermond in mid-April: 14 young schoolgirls and two companions were able to get a look behind the scene. And they discovered that production and development inside the manufacturing industry is no male domain.
A new approach to environmental activities was made by SEKISUI Diagnostics in Kent, England. Instead of offering a single day, a whole week was planned to cover various topics around environmental awareness. It also allowed all SEKISUI Diagnostics (UK) co-workers to participate, taking individual availability due to shifts into account. The result: high participation among deeply invested SEKISUI Diagnostics (UK) colleagues, to the benefit of a local charity.
