Graham Bates donates Football Bet prize money to “Heart of Kent Hospice”
Graham Bates from SEKISUI DIAGNOSTICS (UK) was the lucky winner of the Football Bet at last year’s SEKISUI European Football Tournament and was pleased to support a non-profit organization close to his heart: “Heart of Kent Hospice”. He now handed over the cheque with the prize money of 430 EUR.
The 9th European KAIZEN convention
Innovative projects aiming at the continuous improvement of SEKISUI. This is what KAIZEN is about. On November 19th, representatives from different European companies met in Vlodrop near Roemond, the Netherlands, and competed against each other at the 9th European KAIZEN convention. The event allowed six European teams to present their improvement activities to reinforce company structure and business performance.

SEKISUI European Football Tournament 2019: Team Mepke brought the cup to Roermond!
On the 6th and 7th of September, the fourth edition of the SEKISUI European Football Tournament took place in Herkenbosch, Netherlands. It was a special experience for everyone involved – with exciting matches, fair play and friendship. At the end of the event, the clear winners were Team Mepke and a lot of fun!
Team “SEKISUI Super Six” takes on the Ipswich Ekiden relay
Ekiden – a race which originated in Japan and invites teams of runners competing in a relay over long distances – has long been on the minds of Chris Carter and Ian Howden, both working at SEKISUI Diagnostics in Kent. When they found out that there is an Ekiden race organised in the UK, they knew what to do: Taking part, wearing a SEKISUI running shirt. The two running obsessed colleagues shared their story with us.
