This is why cyber security has become one key priority for SEKISUI. In order to keep a secured IT environment, the SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group has now established a ‘Cyber Security Policy’.
The SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group recognizes that cyber assets such as personal information of customers, data of suppliers or confidential corporate information are a major management resource that needs to be protected against cyberattacks. In order to prepare threat protection and to continuously undertake cyber security measures, the Group has now defined a basic policy on cyber security.

According to the cyber security management guideline established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in Japan, this SEKISUI policy includes two major aspects regarding cyber security management:
- IT risk management and topic cyber security should be considered as part of the company business strategy.
- Countermeasures according to the security risk assessment should be executed strategically.
Cyberattacks present an unavoidable risk that could cause serious issue to SEKISUI. Therefore, we are kindly asking all European employees to read and understand the policy for keeping the awareness to cyber security as one important part of the SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group.
