Originally founded in 1972, SEKISUI DIAGNOSTICS (UK) is one of the newest members of the SEKISUI family. At its manufacturing facilities in the UK SEKISUI DIAGNOSTICS produces high quality enzymes, proteins and substrates which are used in the manufacture of clinical diagnostic reagents and point of care devices.

With core competencies of fermentation and protein purification, the company is a leading manufacturer of diagnostic enzymes such as those used in glucose and cholesterol tests which are important in the management of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

SEKISUI DIAGNOSTICS (UK) is also the international commercial office responsible for sales and customer service of SEKISUI DIAGNOSTICS’ Clinical Chemistry Reagent and Rapid Test product lines, and the distribution of the CP3000 Coagulation system, to all territories outside of the Americas and Japan.

Clare Chaffey: Fresh Idea Award

“I have always been interested in protecting and helping the environment where I can,” states Clare Chaffey, Senior QA (Quality Assurance) Documentation Supervisor at SEKISUI Diagnostics in Kent. While she had wanted to install solar panels for years, she could only install them when moving from a flat to a house in 2015. For the latest improvements of her solar panels system she was now awarded the SEKISUI Greenest Person Fresh Idea Award.
